Feasibility study for water and sanitation facilities in five towns of Mandera, Marsabit, Isiolo, Nyahururu and Garissa in Northern Water Services Board.
Garissa: The Objective of the study is design to investigate current operations and yield of the existing ground water source located within Barasa well field. Then explore the qualitative and quantitative potential of Barasa well field as an alternative source of water to meet the ultimate water demand for Garissa town and its environs. The study will also come up with the necessary engineering and hydro geological recommendations to allow exploitation of Barasa wellfield and to connect to the existing water supply infrastructure.
Isiolo: The Objective of the Study is to identify new sources of water for Isiolo Town and expansion needs of the existing sewerage and to prepare Preliminary Designs with respect to the same. The Study is expected to prepare TOR for detailed Design.
Marsabit: The Objective of the Study is to identify new sources of water for Marsabit Town to meet the current and future demand, and a new water borne sanitation system.The Study is expected to prepare Preliminary Designs and TOR for detailed Designs.
